It's easy to pick up for anyone who's played Carcassonne before, but for those who haven't, it's a bit overwhelming. The guide is a bit too long to read in one sitting, and the game play feels a bit slower than it should. I think it should have been much more condensed; A quick game a few people can play. Board games have always been a rough port to the web because of their pace and the amount of attention they require.

I do think the comics/story is well done, and really adds a nice depth to the event.
