Like art, I will not be forced.
I don't really know exactly want I want, but to be honest, I prefer it that way.. I've come to find that striving for specifics can be extremely limiting.
I really appreciate kindness in any form, and will be sure to treat you with it.. even if I don't receive it in return.
A Full Tale of Tails.
I've always been a sentimental person-- proudly I would drag my past behind me like a pair of tailor made coat tails. But it seems that in time, even the most perfect of fits grow worn and tattered; I look back to see little more than filthy rags holding me back, catching snags.
I realize now that I've put so much effort into clinging to the past-- trying frantically to hold together these pieces that crumble and corrode with age-- that I've completely neglected my here and now. as a result, "the good old days" are gone and I've never felt so alone.
I'm aware that every word I write is nothing more than yet another moment spent staring at this treacherous screen, another cold tile re-counted on the ceiling, another isolated moment. Another sigh of raw boredom, another wish made to stars that don't care, that have heard it all before: a complete waste of time.
But you see, I write what I don't have the courage to say, what I can't bring myself to do and right now its all I have..
